xfunction has announced that it will host an European online tournament with a prize purse of €1,450. xfunction Masters II was initially supposed to be played offline at Clube de Jogos de Matosinhos but the event organisers decided to meet the request of several teams and hold it online instead. Scheduled for March 28-29, the tournament, sponsored by Hitbox and SteelSeries, will be limited to 16 teams and will begin with a round-robin group stage, followed by the single-elimination knockout stages.
To sign up for xfunction Masters II, which has an entry fee of €50, simply send an e-mail to tournaments@xfunction.org. The prize distribution is the following:
